In the first quarter of 2024, the virtual pet category on Android devices has seen varied performances among the top apps in Australia. Sensor Tower provides a detailed outlook on downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these engaging applications.

My Talking Tom Friends, despite its modest revenue, maintained strong user engagement with weekly active users peaking at 39.9K in late January. Downloads also saw a high of 1.9K in the first week of January, with a notable increase to 1.8K in the last week of March.

The Pokémon Sleep app, from The Pokémon Company, showed a significant spike in revenue during the last week of March, reaching $12.5K. Downloads had a notable rise in late February with 776, while weekly active users remained steady, mostly hovering around the 13K mark.

My Cat - Virtual pet simulator by Appsyoulove, experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 1.9K in early January and declining to 908 in late March. Revenue also showed a decreasing pattern, albeit with a slight uptick to $1.2K at the end of March. Weekly active users dipped to 3K towards the end of the quarter.
